Welcome to Swedish American Football Federation

This summer SAFF stands as organizer for the eleventh European Championship in American football. Apart from the hosting country, Finland, Great Britain and Germany has qualified via strait playing. There was in addition 11 nations as lined up before this Championship. This is a record, with broad margin!! Germany is reigning Champion. 2001 was the last Championship, were they defeated Finland in the final, with 19-7.

Malmö is the town that has got the honor to stand as hosts. We hope of course you fold a part of your vacation for a weekend in Malmö to follow Sweden's and the other three countries struggle for the medals. Will this become the first Championship with gold medal for blue and gold, despite the sharp as a knife competition? Our arch rival Finland shows off since earlier with five sets of gold medals, Great Britain, Germany and Italy have two sets of medals each.

I sommar står SAFF som arrangör för det elfte europeiska mästerskapet i amerikansk fotboll. Förutom hemmanationen, så har Finland, Storbritannien och Tyskland kvalificerat sig via kvalspel. Det var för övrigt 11 nationer som ställde upp inför detta mästerskap. Rekord, med bred marginal!! Malmö är staden som fått äran att stå som värd. Vi hoppas givetvis ni viker en del av er semester för en weekend där och följer Sveriges kamp om medaljerna. Ska det bli första mästerkapsguldet för blågult, trots knivskarp konkurrens? Vår ärkerival Finland ståtar sen tidigare med fem uppsättningar guldmedaljer. Storbritannien, Tyskland och Italien har två var.
